Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She earned a B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in theater, film as well as television. The actress Aunjanue. Ellis began her acting in the theatre. In later years, she was a part in television shows along with independent and mainstream films. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made appearances on BET's acclaimed television series The Book of Negroes. Her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. On Broadway she was a part of the cast in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. In her film career her most well-known roles are parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her work in television she's received praise for her performance as the regular character in ABC's police drama High Incident.
